BurnPath (“BurnPath,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by KRK Official LLC, provides a mobile fitness and weight-loss application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and the choices you have. By using BurnPath, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (handled securely through our authentication provider — we never store your password in readable form), along with a display name and username that you choose.
Profile, body, and health information
To personalize your experience and track your progress, we collect information you provide, such as your age, height, weight (including your starting, current, and goal weight), preferred units, activity level, weekly weight goal, and daily calorie-burn goal.
Activity and fitness data
When you record workouts or use the App, we collect activity data such as workout type, duration, distance, pace, elevation, calories burned, step counts, timestamps, streaks, and related fitness metrics.
Location data
With your permission, we collect precise location (GPS) data while you are actively tracking a workout, in order to measure your route, distance, and pace. We collect location only during active tracking — not in the background when you are not using the App's tracking features.
Motion and step data
With your permission, we access your device's motion and fitness sensors (such as the step counter) to record your daily and per-workout step totals.
Photos
If you choose to set a profile picture, we access the photo you select from your camera or photo library and store it as your avatar.
Social information
If you add friends or join challenges, we collect and process information about those connections, your challenge participation, and your leaderboard standings.
Preferences and settings
We store your in-app preferences, such as your unit choices, reminder settings, and notification choices.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services in BurnPath.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account;
- Provide the App's core features — tracking workouts, steps, calories, weight progress, streaks, and goals;
- Calculate statistics, insights, and progress reports;
- Power social features such as friends, challenges, and step leaderboards;
- Send local reminder notifications you have enabled (for example, a daily workout reminder or weekly report);
- Maintain the security and integrity of the App;
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
How Your Information Is Shared
With other users
BurnPath includes social features. When you connect with friends or join challenges, certain information is visible to the people you are connected with — including your display name, username, profile photo, and activity metrics such as step counts and challenge progress shown on leaderboards. Only people you are connected with can see this information; it is not made public.
With our service provider
We use Supabase as our backend provider to host our database, manage authentication, and store files (such as profile photos). Supabase processes and stores this data on our behalf, subject to its own security and privacy commitments. Supabase is the only third-party service that processes your data.
For legal reasons
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users.
No sale of your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Location Data
Because BurnPath tracks workouts, location is an important part of the service. We collect GPS location only while you are actively recording an activity, and we use it solely to calculate your route, distance, and pace. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, though some workout-tracking features may not work without it.
Health and Fitness Information
Some of the information BurnPath collects — such as your weight, body measurements, and activity data — relates to your health and fitness. We treat this information with care and use it only to provide the App's features to you. We do not sell or share this information for advertising.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, BurnPath schedules notifications locally on your device (for example, a daily workout reminder or a weekly progress report). These are generated by the App on your device. You can turn reminders off within the App, or disable notifications entirely in your device settings.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by our service provider, Supabase. We use industry-standard protections, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and access controls that restrict each user's data to that user. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at KrkOfficialLLC@Gmail.com (or by using an in-app account-deletion option, where available). We will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- European Economic Area / United Kingdom (GDPR): you have the rights described above, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy
BurnPath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of BurnPath after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
